| Trade Connect & Growth Gateway are UK Government flagship programmes to enhance trade and investment between the UK and Africa. The programmes have recently collaborated in the horticulture sector in Kenya, with a focus on (a) growing exports from Kenya to the UK, specifically vegetables, mangoes, avocados and value-added products (dried / prepared fruit, avocado oil, and nut mixes / butters); and (b) growing exports from the UK to Kenya that can help boost agriculture production in Kenya e.g., goods (cold supply chain solutions), services (ag-data and quality certification) and funding (credit facilitation and export finance). |
