The Aberdeen Angus Cattle Society has been in existence since 1874 and consists of a 2600 strong membership all producing the best beef in the world. We administer the herd book and are guardians of the integrity of the breed. Unlike other breed Societies Aberdeen Angus is named as the source of the beef and it is generally recognised as a badge of quality.
