At this Years exhibition the Department for Business and Trade shared a stand with CIEL to promote the UK agritech offer at the Expert Advice Centre with 8 Trade officers from British Embassies based in Africa attending accompanied by commercial delegates from their respective counties.
The visiting officers supported by staff from DBT London, CIEL experts and International Trade advisers were able to speak on both days during the LAMMA Live events, explaining the needs of their countries and the help that they are able to give to UK companies expressing an interest in doing business in their countries
The event which ran from 17-18 Jan at the NEC Birmingham is an important Farm Machinery exhibition held annually offering the opportunity for visitors to see some of the worlds most advanced machinery that is available to them to help improve their production and profitability.
LAMMA attracts not just large machinery manufacturers but also hundreds of smaller agricultural engineering and machinery firms from across the UK, hosting the widest range of innovative and established agricultural machinery and equipment under one roof anywhere in the UK.
With over 600 exhibitors and 40,000 visitors this event was much appreciated by the delegates that DBT brought to the UK to give them an opportunity to see first hand the excellence of the AgriTech offer that the UK makes to the world.
