Agrico UK Ltd are a wholly owned subsidiary of Agrico BV, a Dutch farmers cooperative. Agrico supply over 500,000 tonnes of certified seed potatoes to over 80 countries world wide annually. Our core activity involves breeding new potato varieties (solanum tuberosum) to suit differing soils , climates, water availability and consumer preferences globally. Using the latest conventional hybrid breeding techniques we develop new more disease resistant and tolerant varieties capable of delivering higher yields, using less land with fewer inputs. Our corporate social responsibility strategy follows guidance standard ISO 26000 where we sent out our seven key principles and social responsibility themes covering subjects such as: Accountability, Respect for International Norms, Respect for Human Rights and the Environment.
